COCKTAIL RECIPES

 

MOJITO

12 Mint leaves with stems
tsp Sugar
2 oz Citrus rum
2 oz Fresh citrus juice (lemon/lime)
2 oz Soda water
 
In a collins glass, place mint and a teaspoon of sugar. Crush the mint using a muddler. Add rum and citrus. Mix again with muddler.  Finish with soda water followed by crushed ice! (Note: Our mojito glasses are available for purchase and have the recipe on the glass. We also have mojito kits!! Sorry not available for shipping)
 

 

 

HEMINGWAY COCKTAIL

2 oz Citrus rum
1/2 oz Marischino liquor (sour cherry)
1 oz Fresh citrus juice (lemon/lime)
1 tsp Sugar
 
Add ingredients to cocktail shaker and ice. Shake well. Strain into sugar rimmed martini glass. (Note: Ernest Hemingway preferred fresh grapefruit juice!)

 

 

HAVANA SUNRISE

1/2 oz Grenadine
3 oz Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
2 oz Dark rum
 
In a tall glass, pour grenadine in the bottom. Then, fill with ice. Slowly add grapefruit juice and finish with rum. This cocktail should appear layered, but should be stirred before drinking...

 

 

FLORIDITA COCKTAIL

2 oz Citrus rum
1/2 oz Marischino liquor
1 oz Fresh citrus juice (lemon/lime)
1 tsp Sugar
 
Add all ingredients to blender, including ice. Blend well and serve in martini glass. (Note: This is the same cocktail as the "Hemingway" but it is frozen!)

 

 

MULATTA

1.5 oz Dark rum
1/2 oz Crème de Cacao
2 oz Cream
 
In a bucket glass, add rum and crème de cacao. Fill with ice. Finish with Cream.

 

 

CUBAN SIDECAR

1.5 oz Aged Brugal rum
1 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Fresh citrus juice (lemon/lime)
 
Add all ingredients in cocktail shaker. Chill thoroughly and strain over cubed ice in sugar-rimmed rocks glass.

 

 

SANTIAG"O" COOLER

1 oz Bacardi "O" - orange infused rum
2 oz Fresh squeezed orange juice
2 oz Pineapple juice
1 oz Dark rum
 
Fill a tall glass with ice. Layer the liquids, lightest in color on the bottom, dark rum on top. Remember to stir the Santiag"O" and the Havana Sunrise before drinking...
 

EL PRESIDENTE COCKTAIL

2 oz Bacardi Limon rum
1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
1/2 oz Dry Vermouth
2 shakes Bitters
1/2 oz Fresh citrus juice (lemon/lime)
 
Add ingredients to cocktail shaker and ice. Shake well. Strain into martini glass and add an orange zest!
